【本站訊】近日，煙臺(tái)大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)與信息科學(xué)學(xué)院2007級(jí)校友張若冰與浙江大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)高等研究院教授孫崧合作的題為《Collapsing geometry of hyperk?hler 4-manifolds and applications》（四維超凱勒流形的坍縮幾何及其應(yīng)用）的研究成果在國(guó)際頂尖數(shù)學(xué)期刊《Acta Mathematica》上發(fā)表。文章對(duì)四維超凱勒的流形坍縮幾何進(jìn)行了研究，并證明了該領(lǐng)域內(nèi)的兩個(gè)著名猜想，為該領(lǐng)域的一項(xiàng)重大突破。
論文摘要（Abstract）：We investigate the collapsing geometry of hyperk?hler 4-manifolds. As applications, we prove the following two well-known conjectures in the field.(1) Any collapsed limit of unit-diameter hyperk?hler metrics on the K3 manifold is isometric to one of the following: the quotient of a flat 3-torus by an involution, a singular special K?hler metric on the 2-sphere, or the unit interval.(2) Any complete hyperk?hler 4-manifold with finite energy (i.e., gravitational instanton) is asymptotic to a model end at infinity.
據(jù)悉，《Acta Mathematica》是全球四大頂尖數(shù)學(xué)期刊之一，由瑞典皇家科學(xué)院Mittag-Leffler研究所于1882年創(chuàng)刊，涵蓋數(shù)學(xué)各領(lǐng)域最高質(zhì)量的研究論文，季刊，每年2卷，每卷2期，全年共十余篇論文。

張若冰，數(shù)學(xué)與信息科學(xué)學(xué)院2007級(jí)本科生，煙大首位“校長(zhǎng)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金”獲得者，2011年本科畢業(yè)后以全額獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金被美國(guó)普林斯頓大學(xué)博士項(xiàng)目錄取，師從著名幾何學(xué)家Alice Chang（張圣容）和Paul Yang，2016年獲得普林斯頓大學(xué)博士學(xué)位。2016年至2020年在紐約州立大學(xué)石溪分校（Stony Brook University）從事博士后研究工作，曾在普林斯頓大學(xué)任職助理教授，現(xiàn)任美國(guó)威斯康星大學(xué)麥迪遜分校助理教授，曾獲2023年度世界華人數(shù)學(xué)家聯(lián)盟最佳論文獎(jiǎng)。主要研究領(lǐng)域?yàn)楣残螏缀巍⒍攘繋缀?、凱勒幾何等，在塌縮流形研究中做出重要成果，文章發(fā)表在A(yíng)cta Mathematica、Journal of the American Mathematical Society、Duke Mathematical Journal、Geometry and Topology、Advances in Mathematics等國(guó)際頂級(jí)數(shù)學(xué)期刊。
