The SU(3) flavor symmetry approach is independent of the detailed dynamics offering us an opportunity to relate different decay modes. Nevertheless, it cannot determine the sizes of the amplitudes by itself. However, if experimental data are enough, one may use the data to extract the amplitudes, which can be viewed as predictions based on symmetry. In view of some measured hadron decays, we study the
semi-leptonic weak decays of baryons,
,
semileptonic/two-body nonleptonic decays of hyperons, and
four-body semileptonic charm weak decays with the SU(3) flavor symmetry. Using the SU(3) flavor symmetry, we first obtain the amplitude relations among different decay modes, and then predict the relevant not-yet measured hadron decays. According to our predictions, some observables are accessible to the experiments at BESIII, LHCb and Belle-II.

王茹敏,理學(xué)博士,教授,博士生導(dǎo)師,江西師范大學(xué)物理學(xué)學(xué)科帶頭人,教育部新世紀(jì)優(yōu)秀人才支持計(jì)劃項(xiàng)目入選者,江西省高校井岡學(xué)者特聘教授。王茹敏博士的主要研究方向是粒子物理唯象,主要研究重味物理與新物理。目前,主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金4項(xiàng),在該研究領(lǐng)域國(guó)際主流期刊上發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文46篇,研究成果促進(jìn)了該領(lǐng)域理論研究方法的完善,研究成果被國(guó)際大型實(shí)驗(yàn)合作組引用52次,6次入選《國(guó)際粒子物理手冊(cè)》。
